This series will bring indigenous films, filmmakers and performers to the the University of Maine at Farmington. Two artists, actress and filmmaker Georgina Lightning (Cree) and actor, director, and playwright William Yellow Robe, Jr. (Assiniboine/Fort Peck), will share their work with us, collaborate with students, and make themselves available for conversation and discussion.

Join us in celebrating the burgeoning movement in indigenous theatre that has coincided with developments in film, as Native American performance artists have been taking to the stage and the screen to tell their own stories.
