What is a Scholarly Article?

Scholarly and peer reviewed articles are the results of lengthy research and study. The authors are experts in their fields and the articles go through a rigorous submission and review process before being selected for publication. Scholarly articles are more in-depth and include research data or findings.  Look for articles from scholarly journals that are 5 or more pages. Research data (charts, graphs, tables) are often included in scholarly articles too.
