RefWorks Citation Manager

RefWorks can help you manage citations for your papers/projects.  It allows you to use a variety of styles - MLA, APA, Chicago - and transfer information from databases directly into a works-cited page.  This guide explains more about using RefWorks.

 

Introduction

One of the assignments for this class, researching the death of Superman phenomenon, made national news.  This makes it a perfect candidate for searches in newspapers and news magazines.

Modern Language Association (MLA) Citation Guide

The citation style for English and humanities courses is MLA (Modern Language Association).

There are two current MLA print resources in the Reference Room on the first floor of Mantor Library: MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (LB2369 .G53 2009) and MLA Style Manual and Guide to Scholarly Publishing (PN147 G444 2008).
