Welcome to the Mantor Library's collection of Research Guides. There are three types of guides available:
Subject Guides include suggestions for locating books, recommended databases for finding articles, and selected Web resources in a specific subject area. There is also a tab for All Guides that lists subject and course guides together by topic.
Course Guides are designed in collaboration with faculty for a specific course. They provide recommended resources and search tips for locating information on topics relevant to a course or for a class assignment or research project.
How Do I... includes tutorials covering topics such as search basics, finding books and articles, evaluating information, finding scholarly sources, and citing sources. It also has general research guides and information about library services and resources for students.
If you would like to talk to a librarian about your research, learn more about the help available in the Research Assistance for UMF Students guide (in the Subject Guides on the right).
